“Plantes médicinales de la régions “ translates to medicinal plants of the region. This mural was painted in the late summer of 2020 and resides in Tiohtià:ke, Montréal in the neighborhood of Villeray.
I wanted to paint something that brought a burst of colour to the alleyway as well as some visual reminders of native medicinal plants of the region.
The plants in the mural are as follows: Goldenrod~ Solidago Canadensis, High Mallow~Malva Sylvestris, Wild Rose~ Rosa Acicularis, Skullcap~ Scutellaria Lateriflora, Echinacea~Echinacea purpurea.
